Key Features - S16
AUX PLUG IS STANDARD
The S16 comes with an AUX cable that will plug right into the 14 pin AUX plug on your mini skidsteer if it’s equipped with one.
This will allow you to control the grinder from your built-in controls on the mini skidsteer.
D006990 OPTIONAL HAND CONTROL
If your mini skidsteer is not equipped with an AUX plug, don’t worry. We offer an optional
hand control adapter. Connect the hand control to the attachment AUX cable,
connect it to 12V, and now you can still control the stump grinder from the operator platform.

12-volt electric actuator powered swing
The S16 as an electric actuator which really boosts productivity because all of the hydraulic flow and pressure can go directly to the motor. The power to swing the head is drawn from the 12V battery in your skidsteer which can recharge while repositioning.
30 AMPS FUSED POWER SUPPLY REQUIRED
The 12V power source must be equipped with a 30 amps fuse for the constant power to the electric swing actuator. If your skidsteer does not have a 30-amp fuse then we suggest running a separate a wire directly connected to the battery using a heavy wire. Fuses rated below 30 amps will fail during normal operation, there is nothing an operator can do to avoid that as the slip clutch in the electric swing actuator is set to draw up to 30 amps before it actuates.This is just for the constant power, the directional signal wires can be fused at a lower amperage.

6 FREE TEETH
All S16 Stump Grinder comes with a free set of 6 replacement teeth. These replacement teeth are conveniently shipped in the owner’s manual tub bolted to the frame.
More Teeth
The high number of teeth means that each tooth needs to do less work. Each of the Stump Grinders teeth only need to make a small cut, because the work is shared by more of our rugged teeth they last longer and usually only require 2 or 3 replacements at a time. The bolt-on designed teeth allow for straightforward replacement.
Rotor
The massive ½" thick steel rotor provides the back bone for the Stump Grinder cutting system. It’s the anchor for the carbide tipped teeth. For smooth operation it’s important that the rotor remains solid, with no flexing. The rugged rotor also provides the Stump Grinder with the extra momentum needed when the grinding is tough, making sure the Stump Grinder can power through the hardest stumps.
HIGH SPEED TEETH
The concave shaped carbide tip of our High Speed Teeth provide aggressive cutting action by chipping the brush bit by bit. This round tooth is 3 teeth in 1. Simply loosen the lock nut and rotate the tooth to a fresh, sharp cutting edge. This can be done three times, extending the life of each tooth.
HARDENED STEEL BUSHING
Spring Bushings made from high grade chrome-vanadium AISI 6150 spring steel on all main pivot points.
Greaseable Pins
Our grease pins are zinc plated to prevent corrosion which will allow for smoother operation of the units joints over their lifetime.

1. Attachment Mounting Type
Your machine’s mounting plate must match the attachment’s plate for a proper fit. While most manufacturers now follow a "universal" standard, making many attachments interchangeable, there are still exceptions—so always double-check compatibility.
2. Hydraulic Connections and Flow Rate
If the attachment requires hydraulics, ensure that both the machine and attachment have compatible hydraulic couplers. Additionally, the machine’s auxiliary hydraulic flow rate must fall within the attachment’s required range. If the attachment doesn’t use hydraulics, you can skip this step.
3. Machine Lift Capacity
Your machine’s rated operating capacity (ROC) must be able to handle the attachment’s weight. For attachments like buckets and concrete mixers, don’t forget to factor in the weight of the material they’ll be carrying to avoid exceeding your machine’s limits.
